How to view and annotate a document

When you open a document, you and your administrators can add a note to it. This feature will help you work faster, more efficiently and, most importantly, without losing them by storing them in the "Annotations" tab.

Click on the Documentation tab from the sidebar to access your documents.

? Good to know: You can only take notes while reading the document.

To do so, simply follow these steps :

  • Click on the eye symbol to open your document.

  • Click on the page of the document you wish to annotate : a yellow post it will appear.

  • Using this post-it, you can enter your notes

Once you've filled in your note, you can save it by clicking on the "Submit" icon.

When the note is saved, you also have several options available to you:

  • Close
  • Delete
  • Share

You can close your note by clicking on the "Close" icon. The note will be automatically redirected to the left-hand margin of your document.

The "Delete" button deletes the note. However, a pop-up window will appear, asking you if you really want to delete the note, so as not to make a mistake when deleting it.

You can also share the note with users of your choice. By clicking on the "Share" logo, you can select the users you wish to share it with. Selected recipients will receive an e-mail notification containing a link to the document and the note taken on it (after logging in to the portal) or a notification in the application based on the notification settings selected by the user.

? Good to know: All notes made on documents are personal and confidential. If you've shared them, the post-it note changes color to pink, indicating that it's a shared note and not a personal one like the yellow one.

Once the note has been saved, you'll find it in the left-hand margin of your document. You can still open it by clicking on your yellow icon, then edit and save it.

Finally, you'll find all the notes (handwritten on the tablet or written on the yellow post-it notes) taken on the platform or those written on the yellow post-it notes) taken on the platform via the "Annotations" tab. You can now quickly view the notes of all the instances to which you have access.
