How to create corporate books?

Administrators can now use prebuilt company documents, making it easier and quicker to generate the right company documents such as corporate books, or the company profile, for example.



In this article learn how to:



Add a company document

Pre-built documents are available for quick access, however, as an administrator you can create custom company documents. Click on Add company document.


A pop-up displays the following information that must be filled by the user :

  • Name 
  • Description
  • Information to include : This replicates the “Information to include” field for standard company profile

Complete the form and validate.



This generates a widget with the name and description of the Custom company document. Click on the pen to edit the document and click on the toggle to make it available to all users.


Pre-built company documents


As an administrator, access in the settings the Library. 

From the library, you can choose to active pre-existing company documents or create your own.


Among the the documents available by default:


Company profile

A customizable overview of the company's key details, including its shareholding and holdings, boards and committees members and delegations (if available).

Available as a single document or as a bundle.





Shares register

A ledger tracking the transaction history of shares for each company shareholder and share class. Recommended for comptes d'actionnaires (shareholder accounts) in France and corporate books in Canada.


Contains up to 4 capital transaction custom field fields to add as additional columns to the standard document

Options : 

  • Include a table of contents
  • Include a cover page
  • Set as default settings


Officers register

A formal record of all company officers, including their names, roles, addresses, and the dates they began or ended their position. Recommended for corporate books in Canada


The user must select here an instance from the list of reference “instance names” from which the information about company officers will be taken


Options : 

  • Include a table of contents
  • Include a cover page
  • Set as default settings



Directors register

    

A formal record of all company directors, including their names, roles, addresses, and the dates they began or ended their position. Recommended for corporate books in Canada

The user must select here an instance from the list of reference “instance names” from which the information about company directors will be taken

  • Include a cover page
  • Set as default settings



Shareholders register

A formal record of past and present company shareholders, including their names, addresses, and the dates they joined or left as shareholders. Recommended for corporate books in Canada.

  • Include a table of contents
  • Include a cover page
  • Set as default settings




Access the corporate documents

When activated, find the company document in the company's profile page. At the top right of the page, click on the Generate and select the document to generate.
